HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR AN STD TO SHOW UP IN A TEST?
Each STD has a different incubation period after sexual intercourse and will not show up until:
Chlamydia – 7 days (after the encounter)
HIV – 28 days (after the encounter)

STD symptoms vary from the obvious such as rashes, redness and itchiness to discharge from genital area, sores and pain when passing urine. Some STDs can take months to show symptoms or even show no symptoms at all. This means you could be carrying an infection without even knowing.

Every test is sent to our lab for analysis. We will keep you updated by WhatsApp. We aim to have results within 24 hours they will be sent to you via WhatsApp or email. If you have tested positive, we will offer advice on the best course of treatment for you.
